It centrally manages and orchestrates the media blades installed in the MSE 8000, and is built on an Intel Xeon E5-2600 series processor with 64 GB of RAM and two 240 GB solid-state drives. Network connectivity is provided by two 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ ports and two Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports, plus a dedicated management interface.
