The Arista 7124SX is a high-performance, ultra-low-latency Layer 2/3/4 10 Gigabit Ethernet switch from the Arista 7100 Series. It offers 24 1/10GbE SFP+ ports in a compact, power-efficient 1RU chassis, forwarding packets in under 500 nanoseconds with 480 Gbps of throughput and 360 million packets per second of wire-speed L2 and L3 forwarding. Built on a dual-core x86 platform with 4 GB DRAM and 2 GB flash and running Arista EOS, it delivers advanced capabilities such as Zero Touch Provisioning, Latency Analyzer (LANZ), VM Tracer and sFlow, with redundant hot-swappable power and cooling.
