Powered by the FortiASIC network processor, it delivers up to 16 Gbps of firewall throughput and 12 Gbps of IPSec VPN throughput across twenty 10/100/1000 RJ-45 Gigabit interfaces (expandable to twenty-four). An AMC expansion bay adds accelerated interfaces, bypass or local logging, combining firewall, VPN, IPS, antivirus, web filtering and application control in a single 1U platform.
