Prology is not liable for delays caused by carriers or customs, or losses arising from incorrect delivery details.

6. Product use and technical responsibility

You acknowledge that IT hardware requires proper configuration, installation, and maintenance, and that products must be used in accordance with manufacturer specifications.

You are solely responsible for:

  • System design, compatibility, and integration
  • Network security and configuration
  • Testing and validation before deployment

Prology is not responsible for misconfiguration or improper installation, network failures, downtime or performance issues, or compatibility issues with third-party systems.

7. Firmware, software, and licensing

Some products may include firmware or embedded software. Such software is licensed, not sold, and its use is subject to the manufacturer's licensing terms. You must not reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with firmware.

Prology is not responsible for software bugs or vulnerabilities, or updates and patches provided by manufacturers.

8. Warranty disclaimer

Unless expressly stated otherwise, products supplied by Prology include a 6-month limited warranty from the date of purchase.

This limited warranty covers hardware faults or defects that arise under normal use during the warranty period. The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, incorrect installation, or improper handling
  • Unauthorised modification or external factors
  • Compatibility issues with the buyer's specific systems or environment

Manufacturer warranties, if any, may also apply directly through the manufacturer.

Prology does not warrant that products will be error-free or uninterrupted, compatible with your specific systems, or fit for a particular purpose beyond standard specifications.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, no additional warranties are provided unless expressly stated in writing.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law, including applicable consumer guarantees.

9. Returns and RMA

Returns and warranty claims must be approved in advance through Prology's RMA process.

Prology offers 30-day conditional returns where an item has been purchased incorrectly, subject to approval and a 20% restocking fee.

  • No refunds are provided for change of mind
  • Returned products must be in original condition and packaging unless otherwise approved by Prology

Non-returnable items may include custom-configured equipment, opened or used hardware, software, licensed products, and any items not eligible for return under Prology's return conditions.

Nothing in this Returns and RMA policy limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prology's total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

Prology is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data, profits or business, network downtime or service interruption, or costs of replacement systems or services.

This applies even if Prology has been advised of potential damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Prology from any claims arising from:

  • Improper use or deployment of products
  • Network or system failures
  • Violations of laws or third-party rights
  • Security breaches within your systems

12. Technical support disclaimer

Unless explicitly included in a separate agreement, products are sold without ongoing support obligations and any advice provided is general in nature.

You are responsible for engaging qualified IT professionals where required.

13. Third-party products

Prology may supply products from third-party manufacturers. We do not control manufacturing quality and are not responsible for manufacturer defects beyond applicable warranties.

14. Security and cyber risk

You acknowledge that IT systems are inherently vulnerable to cyber threats and that hardware alone does not guarantee security.

You are responsible for implementing security controls and monitoring and maintaining your systems. Prology is not liable for cyberattacks, breaches, or unauthorized access.

15. Suspension and refusal of service

We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict access at our discretion, including for suspected fraud or misuse.
