The Cisco AIR-PWRINJ7 is a Multigigabit 802.3bt Power Injector that delivers both data and power to a Cisco access point over a single Ethernet cable, allowing devices to be deployed exactly where needed at lower installation cost. It provides fully compliant 802.3bt detection with disconnect, short-circuit, and overload protection so that only 802.3bt, 802.3at, and 802.3af devices receive power. It supplies up to 50 W and includes one 5 Gigabit Ethernet input port and one 5 Gigabit Ethernet output port. Note that when a power injector is used, mGig port speeds are limited to 5 Gbps.
