It combines an integrated route processor and an integrated Embedded Services Processor (ESP) delivering 2.5 Gbps of system bandwidth, uses Cisco QuantumFlow Processor technology to accelerate advanced features, and runs the modular Cisco IOS XE operating system with hardware and software redundancy.
