This is the Cisco Right PCIe Riser Board (Riser 1) for the UCS C240 M4 rack server, the x8-plus-GPU variant. Corresponding to Cisco part number UCSC-PCI-1A-240M4, it is one of three riser 1 options offered for the C240 M4 and provides an x8 PCIe slot with GPU support. Unlike the UCSC-PCI-1C variant, the 1A option does not include the SATA boot-drive connectors. When a GPU is installed in slot 2, NCSI support automatically shifts to slot 1, which becomes the primary VIC slot.
