It delivers cost-effective 10 Gigabit connectivity for short-distance links within a rack or between adjacent racks. As a passive assembly it draws under 0.15 W, generates practically no heat, and is built to the IEEE 802.3ae and SFF-8431 / SFF-8472 specifications for reliable, low-latency 10GbE connections.
