The Cisco EXP-1GSFP-T= is a spare 10/100/1000BASE-T SFP Ethernet Transceiver Module that offers 100M/1Gbps connectivity. It has the SFP+ form factor and an RJ-45 interface so that CAT5e/CAT6A/CAT7 cables can be used to connect to endpoints with embedded 10GBASE-T ports. It is suitable for distance up to 100 metres and offers a cost-effective way to connect within racks and across adjacent racks.
